Title: “Schnapschuesse aus dem fruehen Universum"

Abstract: The 'Big Bang' model describes the evolution of our universe from a hot primordial plasma to the stars and galaxies we see today. But what do we know of this early phase? Where are the laboratory books of this high-energy experiment, the result of which is our universe? The messengers from this early phase of our universe are almost but not quite 'invisible' particles (photons, neutrinos and gravitational waves) that, if detected, can bear witness to the early history of our cosmos. In this lecture, I will explain some of the resulting surprising insights into the properties of our universe.
